guess wat ... some of u might not be happy to hear this .. but i god damn happy abt it ... hahahahahhahaha .... ladies n gentlemen .... i finally achieve my main objective in curtin .... what is it ?? if u guys still rmb ... .....

a scholarship .. oh yeah .. n i got it for 100% .. save RM 21'600 ... wakakakkaka ... how i feel ?? seriously .. of course happy la .. hahaha ... i really lucky to get it ... it is not easy ler ... my nx target ?? a shell scholarship .. or shell top student award ... wowow .. i really dare to dream now ... since this scholarship i got is only for first yr degree ... hehehe ..

work harder la ... don't give up ... emmm ... degree will be a lot of fun for me .. hehe .. my chemical engineering degree ...

em .. miri ?? back to miri can said is a wonderful start for me ... hehe .. my second present is a nice soar advisor t-shirt .. with my name on it .. wow .. new students n my friends will be jealous for this .. haha .. soar really powerful ?? haha .. don't know la .. help new student is our job .. n i'm really passionate in doing this ... maybe to satisfy myself ... by helping them ... hehe ... nice t-shirt .. wan me show off to u ?? haha .. planning to bring it back to sdk ... attract ppl .. hope for more sdk ppl ... hehhe ... lin c my friends also .. haha ..

really a good start for my first yr degree then ... hv fun ... n congrats

how long already ? haiz .. too busy la with lot of activities .. i even forgot wat activities i involved ... juz briefly say some interesting one .. for me .. hehe

b4 i move to the latest one .. i actually volunteer to help out for the event out thr ... one of it is ... KRP kids carnival ... know wat .. i gain money n free kfc lunch from this event .. hahaha ... n lot of pain as well .. we actually juz need to take care of the game booths ... unluckily .. i got the one for football/ soccer .. i like football .. but .. goalkeeper .. those kids are really trying to kill me... they shot damn hard la ... i got pain for both of my hand .. n legs also ... haizz ... sakit la ... nvm la .. kids bah .. i will take my revenge one day .. hehehhe .. but really fun tat day .. i enjoy tat .. my friend even post a video on youtube .. u guys can watch tat .. juz type curtin volunteer kpr kids carnival .. something like tat ...

 

then ... Charity of Paint ... this one is the spotlight for laz month ... curtin volunteer are famous in sarawak ? guess so .. group pics on newspaper .. even ppl in kuching also know abt us .. ok abt this event .. we juz need to paint a mental care hse .. somewhere in miri .. luckily i didn't waste too much of the paint ... we were devided to few groups n then paint different area ... the point for this event is ... charity help out n appear in newspaper ... hahaha .. ppls around r talking abt us .. feel like superstar .. yeah !!!!

CV! camp ... actually not really tat fun for me ... em one of the workshop was quite nice ... the speaker spent us 2 ice-cream for each .. then sweets ... she even call someone to send us bbq lamb for supper at night ... since tat moment .. i like this woman .. she is happy despite she been through the worst situation ... haha .. i never get any free foods from a workshop speaker ... another workshop again ... public speaking .. i volunteer myself to speak again .. in front of my friends ... ya .. now i can stand in front n speak .. which is not really tat nervous as b4 .. i enjoy speak in front of ppl .. i treat them as my friends instead of looking them as stones .. haha .. i care abt thr expression n tat't the reason to make eye contact .. respect ur audience n make sure they understand wat r u talking abt.. i proud to say tat .. i can talk in front of 300+ ppl ...in curtin actually .. hehe

 

still have a lot ler ... nvm la .. hv a break first .. how abt my studies ler ?? nvm ... i still aim to become top students .. heheh ... juz keeping busy ... maths is still my best ... science ... i really love these subjects now ... interesting .. n good lecturer as well .. hehe

guess wat ... this juz happen yesterday .. friday ... 2nd of may 2008 ... is my special day ... i hv a band performance for the foundation graduation ceremony .. band man .. band .. i can play bass guitar .. anyone out thr believe it ? hahaha ... my friend taught me de ... i still plan to perform nx time .. hehe ... i really become a superstar in curtin la .. i assuming tat lor ... most of my friends felt surprise to see me playing a bass guitar in front of the crowd .. even the lecturer also said .. "wah !! kah wai .. i never realize u can play guitar eh " .. how great was tat .. man .. feel good

same day again at night ... guess wat again .. man .. dance battle .. i join tat competition ... traditional dance again .. hahah .. my group practice tat for lot of times ... n having fun at the same time also .. i really did a miracle moment in my life .. i need to prepare band n dance for juz only 2 weeks ... how great am i ... ok .. during our turn for the competition .. i got up the stage .. i feel very n damnnnn nervous ... but my supporters again .. thx for my CV! friends .. u guys really motivate me a lot ... i gain back my confidence again .. half of the crowd is my friends .. so tat i did all my best for the dance ... n the results is .. 2nd runner up ... means .. number 3 la .. first time i won a third prize in dance competition.. thx a lot for my traditional dance group leader as well for giving me this chance and all the other members ... i earn my highlight again ... wow .. wow .. wow ... i'm really getting famous now .. in curtin .. hahaha .... a lot of friends here ... i came alone .. but now i'll never walk alone ... really very happy .. even until now ..

 

still more upcoming events ... i really getting hyperactive now ... badminton competition .. i wan to join !!!! btw .. i 'm joining SOAR again .. hope they will accept me ... i will avoid looking at girls frequently .. sorry everyone .. i will respect ppl when i listen to them .. haizzz .... n .. study smart .. i wan to become top ..... hahahaha ... sorry guys .. really busy since i arrived miri ... most of the weekend i hv activities ...

SOAR ...

really .. very tiring for laz 2 weeks ... haha .. finally complete my first task as a soar .. still a pre-u o-week coming ... hope everything will be better la ... my comment for this ... how la ? i'm happy to join this family n i will keep active as a SOAR as long as i'm in curtin ...

then .. this experience also taught me tat ... wat i learn from the training week is totally different when everything i hv to settle on the spot .. at the same time .. i also get to know new friends .. gals especially ... haha ... n hv lot of fun .. yeah !!

wat hv i learn actually ?? .. here is the list ..
1. guide new students (most importantly)
2. "become a driving instructor instead of a driver"
3. support n work together with my group( the so called family .. hehe)
4. become a motivator ? .. yaya
5. handle speech ... mc ?? master of ceremony ..
6. oh .. b4 i forget .. i intro myself to the dean .. shook hand also .. hehe .. so proud
7. be confident as a senior ...
8. rounding dance during rounding session ... haha .. damn fun n suffering( kena diao again)

stay positive .. still a long way to go ... really happy to feel after a little success during o-week.. oh ya ... abt friday nite help out for the curtin financial talk .. i volunteer for tat job .. n wat is the result ... free dinner .. haha ... eat in the hotel restaurant ...i really want to shout tat i love curtin .. oh yeah .. for free dinner only ... hehe ... curtin o-week is much meaningful .. trust me ... em .. need to work hard lo .. sch days comin' ..

during o-week .. i really shock to see 50% sabahan thr ... n many sandakan ppl enrolled this sem ... degree la ... so surprise ... during my time .. juz me only sandakan .. aiya ... but nvm .. hope more ppl to come curtin ler ...

my grandma bought me a new mobile phone .. ?? hehe .. sony i guess according to my mum .. but wat i wan is a laptop .. still hunting la .. i prefer sony vaio ... since they selling it in a cheap bargain ... hope to get one soon ler ...

p/s : SOAR stands for student orientation advisory and registration  .. n really proud tat sandakan ppl meet me as a soar .. perhaps ..maybe la .. the first sandakan soar .. haha

2008 ....

wow ... 20 yrs old is coming lo ... getting older n older ... feels like an old man now ?? neh .. never ... i swear i still can walk very well when i reach 100 yrs old or more .. haha ... still a student .. nth change .. still need to study uhh .... when can i go out the society n contribute something to my country ??? errrr .... i think i can't wait longer for my post as an engineer ... is it a really suitable job for ? or a challenging career ?? hehe .. perhaps

first sem analysis ...

so fast ler .. time so fast ... end of first sem here .. hehe .. somethin' i achieved ... some not ... bad so far ... satisfied with my performance ler ...

abt study de:
1. oh .. this i really aim for high marks lor .. haha .. so tried very hard to achieve tat .. some ppl even thought i'm a nerd ... some say i crazy .. i stress ? study lik hell ? no la ... i juz finally found i lik science mix with maths ... ah ... lot of calculation n law stuff .. theory .. watever .. i love them actually ... somethin' for sure is .. i made a right decision ... second sem will be a bit tough .. but i can take the challange

2.group work ? i need a lot of improvement on it .. must work together as a team .. every one is a leader ... really hope my group mates can understand le ... last minute work makes thing worst ... i try my best to do anything i can .. never say ' i don't know how to do' ... if u don't try  ... u will never learn .. trust me ... u will regret ...my advice

3.em .. not over confident .. hehe .. work everything b4 i regret ... especially final exam .. the toughest part of every sem ...

abt friends ?
1. oh yeah .. i do know some nice friends here ... seniors ... em ... most of them i knew from those activities i join .. i came here alone .. but i manage to make a lot new friends ( i mean more than i expected) ... haha ... especially tat commerce gang ... intro nice gals to me .. but wat she always tell me abt is .. those gals r not available (in relationship ... then juz friend friend lo)... ahhhh !!!!!

2. football gangs ... ah ha .. these ppl really love football .. even i lost winning eleven to them (eh .. my favorite game) i my pay it back one day ...errrghhh ...

3.then gal friend? nah i juz always keep tat in my mouth la .. but havn't really prepare to have one ... juz be a friend ya ...

abt my nex sem objectives:
1. be a SOAR adviser ....
2. get better marks (despite the previous marks hvn't out yet)
3. learn some engineering experience
4. be sure of my degree programme (i'm now confuse with my major)
5. join some fun activities
6. maybe win a badminton tournament in curtin .. hehe(no ' weapon ' this sem)
7. learn some nice dishes from my grandma n cook for myself ... hehe
8. nth else loh ... manage my time well la ...^^

do b4 it is too late

most of time i can't really make up my mind .. even it is a little things that everyone out thr can juz decide it in a few seconds.. wat will happen if i pick the right way instead of left way.. i learn this value during my secondary sch ... n the conclusion is ' who care? ' .. ya ..it doesn't matter .. as long as u make the decision .. juz walk on it n let it happen for wat will it be ...

but today ... midnight  1 a.m. .. 16 of nov, 2007 .. i feel scare if i didn't make a u-turn n change my mind on tat day .. wat will happen .. regret .. tat's my point ... the time juz moving too fast n we can't really predict wat would happen n wat wouldn't ... something juz disappear too fast or approach to u earlier than expected ... n maybe u will feel sad or even happy abt it

my mind is telling me tat ... life is juz lik tat .. fragile .. once u lost ur confidence or the strong will ... it juz like a glass fall n breaks into small pieces ... u can feel this kind of feeling which i can't really describe it ... it is such a complicated feeling tat could be different for everyone ..

feel lonely ... feel nth to do .. no challenges .. no fresh topic for ur life ... is tat the reason ppl sign the soul contract n giving up their rights... sorrow r left behind after this ... r these ppl really found wat they want ?

sadly ... i lost a voice again ... if anyone ask me now ... my ans is ... i still hv a long way to go .. i won't be satisfied if someone gonna shut me down in this way ...

it's been a long time but the memory is still fresh in my mind ...deeply inside... it will never be erased..

upcoming event: CV SOAR advisor ... hehe .. i got the job finally ... happy happy .. tat would be a great experience for me .. to interact with new students .. guide them .. n wat .. guess .. dance .. lot of dance .. haha ... i think this could build my basic stage b4 the hip hop stuff ... nx yr goin' to learn break dance.. so try to learn the basic ..as much as i can first .. hehe ... my dance still sucks la .. (but i will focus on my job as SOAR advisor .. don't worry )

after this SOAR training camp .. kuching will be my nx destination ... go visit emily ye ... she said will drive me thr n here ... n hv fun ... hope she won't ask me to sleep in her living room .. haha .. i'll go thr maybe on 3 or 4 of december .. stay thr .. depends emily ... if she halau me .. then i leave la .. haha .. so bad ya .. b'cos i will get almost everything free thr ... thanks for emily first ... i will share the expenses .. ( i'm not a selfish boy.. ok)

i'm active ? u think so ? si tan juz said this to me .. but i think i'm not really tat active la .. i juz think i need these kind of activities to gain experience ... knowing friends ... n take a break from my working space ... exam ... go for it .. score the best result in my life... y? b'cos i really feel confident tat i can make it ....

John Curtin Weekend !!!

wat is tat actually? ya .. some sort of volunteer work .. donno aus  thr got or not ler .. hehe .. the programme is ~ weekend rural outreach programme ... yayaya ... oh man !!

if i didn't manage to attend this programme .. i will cry forever ... hehe .. i woke up at 5:50 a.m. on sat .. the bus was depart at 6 a.m. sharp tat day ... so juz rush everything n jogging to the bus stop .. watever ~ the bus actually departed at 6:30 a.m. due to certain technical problem ...

eh .. i was very bad luck tat day ... the bus we took was broken down b'cos of overheatin' ...  but nvm la ... then nx bus come loh ... to make a substitution but wat again ... the second bus was broken down too .. eh ... so no choice but to walk to the long hse ... haha .. this wat we call curtin volunteer is it? but half way sure got car to pick us up la .. so not really suffer a lot under the hot sun

finally arrive ... traditional music ... iban people ... r welcoming us ... ye heh i'm a bit lucky for it since the long hse is a brick building ... quite modern ... the other team is the classic type .. timber combine wood .. i think so .. since we r quite far from each other ... but thr isn't any power n water supply here .. oh oh oh ... i gonna experience this ... tell ya wat .. bath in the river .. sleep without fan or air-con .. all they hv is natural air-con ... tat's true ler ... i felt cold laz nite even with the modern facilities ...

yaya ... laz nite wat ? i got drunk .. really .. these ppl r mad for party ... b4 the crazy stuff .. we hv traditional welcoming ceremony .. related to the Gawai celebration ... we dance with them too .. ngajat dance if i'm not mistaken .. but juz hantam saja la .. wow .. these iban people really got lot of tattoo la ... i mean for those oldies ... after tat ... we start the mad party .. the long hse was actually having a disco party la ... those ppl dance thr .. oldies .. youngies ... everyone join together ... wow .. n those iban gal very clever la .. they juz force us to drink their rice wine ... n i really hv many shot for tat .. all r one shot finish ...crazy man ..first time i walk into the classic iban disco ... haha ... one auntie n one uncle don't let me go even though it is really late already ... as we need to work for the nx day ...

tell ya wat .. tat uncle n auntie wan me to do volunteer work with their gal .. i dono sepupu or wat kind of relative r they ... juz push the gal over n dance together ... hehe .. don't think i will do anything la .. i drunk but i still can control myself ... i talk with the gal .. form 4 actually ...stay in the sch hostel since their kampung is very far away from the sch .. then lucky the gal run away .. wakaka ... n then my bapa angkat come over n help me out from the mad disco .. oh yeh .. i manage to escape from thr ...

oh ya ... forget to say .. each participants r divide to different family as anak angkat ... i hv one also ... oh ya .. our main task was painting their main gate .. some kind of art stuff for their culture ...so tired ... arhh ...

food ? oh .. kampung style food ... since the village is far far away from town ... so they got most of the resource by farming ... fishing ... etc ... water to drink ?  mineral water ye .. yaya .. something .. i need to mention here .. i bath in the river right ? oh with gals also ... ohoh .. they cover with sarung ... n we bath together thr ... haha ... so .. can imagine la .. 

b4 return to the main city .. i manage to got a manik chain from them .. as a souvenir ... red color de chain .. since i lik liverpoolfc ... really great i able to grab the only red chain ...

got lot to say but em .. pics r the great proof ... later i got the pics then i post luurr .. since i didn't hv any cam .. so if they giv me then i post la .. if no then no luuu ...

p/s: i don't think i can really bare with this kampung lifestyle .. but i promise will go back thr again since i hv left a signature on the group ... n i really learn a lot from their culture including those i didn't clarify above ... makai makai ... jalai jalai .. i juz know this iban language only

how to work together with my group?

i realize tat finally.. actually wat.. i'm not really hope my partners r genius.. all i need is cooperation n partners who can really pay his/her effort on the work.. but it seems no one really understand me ..am i too complicated ? or wat? juz let me know ~ sometimes i juz don't know how to show tat such anger as it will juz end up making a worst situation

so far.. i don't really perform a good team work.. so bad then.. my new extra objective is to perform a good team work.. ha ~ such a funny joke... one more thing i wan to clarify .. sometimes u think i'm asking stupid question.. maybe tat's really stupid for u but not for me ... ok .. fine .. i will improve it but not so soon ... as i think i still need to ask a lot of "stupid" question since i'm not really tat "clever"

gosh ~ ... my second extra point .. "not to ask stupid question!!!!" .... as well as improve my language command.. since some ppl doesn't really understand my words ... but i don't command well in my "international language" .. but i try to avoid express in tat way ... i still can manage my anger.. if not someone will gonna receive my punch .. haha ... i swear

em .. upcoming event ... presentation season ---> eh leh ... juz like sup ... so fast ler ... my first sem here is going on november .... another great upcoming event ---> weekend rural outreach programme .. wanna know more abt it .. hehe .... nex time ler ... will post after the event... n then soar advisor ... plan to join after foundation .. hehe .. wat is tat.. briefly tell u .. em actually combine dance .. fun .. interact .. game .. together .. a lot of good stuff .. haha ... very interesting de

tat's all my current plan .. try my best to achieve everything ... go for it... life is filled with up and down .. n i really gain a lot of experience here .. n tat's will only make me tougher ... hehe

the second chapter

em ... today a bit lucky ... hehe i think maybe i hv make some good relationship with my room mates .. wow ...how ler ... interaction la(is it?) ... now i juz know tat gal is younger than me ... eh .. too bad ...

em .. wat now .. my second chapter ? tell u wat ... i didn't play balls anymore .. but i think will get a chance to play badminton or football very soon ... now my sport is dancing ... traditional dance .. ouch! tat's painful .. so far so good ... lucky my muscle still can stand for it... tell u ppl wat .. don't every make fun on the traditional dance ... not easy de ... modern dance so sad no performance slot for the open day .. but the traditional one is more than enough la ... day day practise.. hehe i will perform during the open day .. hope i will not disappoint my team ...

one more thing make me feel happy is ... those senior praise me ler ... 'hey boy, u hv potential' ... 'oh sayang ... good good' ... ' hey dude u got improvement' ... 'hey boy keep up' ... oh .. true or not ? don't cheat me la ... haha .. i try very hard for tat n i'm happy for tat too .. i achieve my second objective ... how great ...

tat's it la ... i don't think i hv photo to show on tat day ... n i'm still worry for the performance ... so juz try my best first la ... as long as i dare to learn .. tat's already satisfied lo ... so .. don't hope so much la ... n  ... now everyone can dance .. hehe  ...advice here .. dance can be very happy when u r enjoying the music .. oh ... juz the begining of the first chap ... keep it up ...
